On The Low
On The Low is the next chapter of a journey built on curiosity, community, and a genuine love for sneakers, clothing, and collectibles. I’m Omar Ismail, and for about six years I’ve worked within this industry, learning the market, building relationships, and developing the eye needed to source great inventory across categories. That experience allows me to offer thoughtful finds at competitive prices to fellow Canadians and customers around the world.

My journey into reselling began during COVID 19. I started by picking up pairs through online platforms, learning what people valued, and finding opportunities to make a modest profit. Instead of treating those early wins as quick money, I reinvested them. First into personal pairs, then into more inventory. Somewhere along the way, I realized this could become more than a side project.

That realization led to pop up events, face to face conversations with customers, and eventually a sneaker store previously known as Double Up Canada. Those years taught me how much this business depends on trust: knowing the product, pricing it fairly, and making every customer feel welcome. After my time with Double Up came to an end, I continued independently through an online store, carrying the lessons and relationships forward.

Now, I have the opportunity to bring that dream back to life with a new sneaker, clothing, and collectibles store. On The Low is built to be a friendly, carefully curated, and connected community.
